Two Weeks in College

AS KYUEM welcomes the new Juniors of Batch 13 into the jungle life, lots of things have been happening in just two weeks. Of course the Induction Week for the Juniors, MABECS Personal Statement madness, Batch Anniversary, MUSCOM Booksale, House meetings, classes, assignments, studies and etc. Hectic, yes I would say but it's a good start for a whole new semester hoping that everyone would work harder and to remind ourselves the main reason why we're here in the first place - to get good results in our A Levels.

Thanks to the college for cleaning them up during the holidays.

It's good to see the college back after a long "productive" break. I really appreciate to those who cleaned our chalets and it's really cool that they didn't throw away all the stuffs that I posted on my wall. Maybe it's just too much for them! But they took away all of our shampoos, soaps, detergents and even our pales! I reckon they've put it in the Warden's office.

Despite all that, I made a quick visit to the Cafe and I'm loving the new transformation they did to the Cafe. Well, not much of a transformation but still it looks darn good. We now have Mango, Orange and Grape juice for only RM2. It's good to see the smile on Kak Ida's face.

They changed the arrangements.

Notice the change on Week 2's Friday. It's 6 5 4 3 2 1. Not 5 4 6 1 2 3 anymore.

Ah, the beautiful 'finished' garden. Mr Conquest queries a lot about this during Economics.

Oh yeah, have I not told you that now there are no more reasons for Radhie to go and meet Wei Ling at the Love Tunnel again since all the Male Point Fivers are relocated into the Male Chalets. And the Female Point Fivers are relocated according to their respective Houses. Can you see the big smile on Farouk's face?

Classes begin for us on the next day which is Tuesday and we've already got tonnes of assignments and home works. But that didn't matter because all eyes are on the Juniors. 137 all of them, expecting the unexpected in the jungle life of KYUEM. We didn't get any scholars from PNB now. From what I've heard, it's because PNB is slightly pissed off by their scholars who joined politics and did not serve them back after they graduated. But we do have six YTN scholars and most of the Juniors are privately sponsored.

The final day of Induction Week

Hijjaz managed to get his hands on the crutches and he's only been one week in KYUEM. Same goes to whatever happened to Chong last year.

Ohoi matey Batch 13!

THE day when I heard Batch 13 made a group in Facebook, I couldn't believe it. After I saw the group for myself, I couldn't stop laughing. It's not because the fact that they've actually initiated the group one week before coming to KYUEM, but the fact that from 30 members, it grew to more than 100 and 70% of the members are the former and current students!

The funniest part is when their wall is being dominated by them (former and current students) pretending to be new comers. And I think some of the real new comers actually fell for it. Awang Adrian, Airy Maba, Muhammad Shabirin (Mandur) have been a great contributor in confusing the new comers and some of them are really funny. I laughed out loud when I read most of the post. This is one of the funniest post I got recently.

They also had their small ice breaking and introduction in the group. To be honest, I'm actually excited and can't wait for all of them to come and join into the family. And I hope we'll get a great Batch Anniversary! Off the record, may I suggest their theme should be 'Life in Technicolor II'?

Welcome aboard Batch 13!

Cheers to our beloved seniors Batch 11 and 11.5!

AFTER a long four weeks break, I'm sure everyone is excited to come back to college! And I'm definitely sure that my fellow comrades from Batch 12 and 12.5 are all geared up to start up fresh in this coming semester. With the seniors (Batch 11 and 11.5) gone to pursue their goals and dreams outside of KYUEM, we're all going to miss all of them and we thank them for making our lives in KYUEM richer and more colorful. It's an absolute honor to work and study with all of you and there are thousand and one sweet memories that we've shared together. Those were the times where tears are shed, laughter burst and a mix of love and anger altogether along the way. We will never forget the day when we arrived in KYUEM, you seniors accepted us into this wild and windy road with a big warm heart. How could we forget the times when we cheered together for our houses, Garnet, Sapphire, Diamond and Topaz? How could we ever forget wanting to win every single competition, any inter-house for our beloved houses? But in the end, none of that seem. We're going to miss the explosions of laughter in the AV Room by the seniors. We're going to miss studying with them in the RC. We're going to miss eating with them in the DH. We will miss cheering with the seniors. We will miss everything, definitely. But, looking at the bright side, this is not the end for us. We are obviously going to meet you guys soon. It's Malaysia-lah.

Whatever it is, we wish you all the best and thank you seniors. We love you dearly.
